Zuri Ignite Fully Supports The Ban On Plastic Bags
Sustainable development is defined as "Development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs." The Sustainable Development Goals all aim towards a world where every individual can sustain themselves now and in the future. One of the notable enemies of this dream are plastic bags. Their inability to decompose for over 1000 years poses a great risk to life – both on land and sea; both plants and animals.
Zuri Ignite proudly characterizes itself as the regional champion of Sustainable Events Management. At everything we do, we aim to create a better world for our future generations since we believe everyone deserves an equal chance. With the #PlasticBanKe coming into effect today, we cannot be any happier. We salute the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources led by Her Excellency Judy Wakhungu as well as the National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA) for implementing this initiative.
I am sure that the Late Prof. Wangari Mathai is smiling from up in heaven. The Late Hon. John Michuki is proud of us as a nation.
We urge our clients and partners to embrace this move and we promise you that one day, our future selves will thank us for it.
Say ‘Yes’ to #OneLessPlasticBag every day!
